In that case, I'd have to vote "Funk #49" to take it all. I like LBG but of the two, Funk is a more complex instrumental piece showing Joe's mastery of the guitar. That opening riff has to be one of the most recognizable licks of all times! It's right there with the Spanish arpeggio in Hotel California or that minor "Apache" opening riff in Witchy Woman.

LBG has some very pertinent lyrics but, I don't consider it the best work he's done though it probably is more popular to the general public, expecially after all the things he's done with in in concerts over the past 8 or 10 years.

Had I been involved in this earlier, I'd have gone with what I think is Joe's opus: "The Confessor" or maybe "The Bomber." That song (Confessor) has more deep rooted meaning than any other that he had composed and in addition, has some ungodly guitar work.
