Note: Very little audience noise. “The Confessor” is split into two tracks for some reason. After “Ashes, the Rain, and I”, Walsh tells the story about how a “little brat” told him that his grandfather was the reason he was a Joe Walsh fan. He introduces “Meadows” as a “Barnstorm song” and mentions that he doesn’t remember much from that time period. Track 6 is a lengthy jam session that lasts about 6 minutes before it becomes “Funk #49” and then there are some weird vocals at the end of the song. But before “Funk” even starts playing, Joe tells a story that alludes the lyrics of “Life’s Been Good” and the he steals Glenn Frey’s “Plantiff ex-wife” joke! He then says that although David Crosby is the “real father” of Melissa Etheridge’s child, he (Joe Walsh) is actually “the real mother”. Later, Joe insists that “I.L.B.T.s (I Like Big Tits)” was written out of “respect” for women. Joe was certainly a comedian tonight! “Turn to Stone” is also a lengthy jam session – Joe jokes about how long he draws it out. Before “Indian Summer”, Joe talks about what it was like growing up in the 1950’s. This seems to be a partial boot because it is less than an hour in length, and Joe starts to introduce the band at the end of the last track, but it cuts out. This has been mislabelled as from 2006 by some and somewhere along the way to me, someone burned this sucker as lossy track-as-one instead of lossless disc-as one.
