We don't have any pets at the moment. I'd like to have a Gambian Pouched Rat, but I was outvoted
WS82, Snowflake is too cute!

Snowflake looks cute, WS82.
My uncle's latest acquisition, a 6 month old female cat named Smokey. His sister couldn't keep her, so he took her in. Last night, she decided to claim my backpack as hers.

So cute! They love to get in bags & boxes.
We discovered earlier today our newly adopted cat, Shadow, likes tamales. Yep, he jumped onto the counter without our knowing and swiped one. We found him under the kitchen table munching away. He ate the whole thing, even bits of the husk!
Too funny Delilah!
AG, Smokey is cute!

I stayed with my brother who had regular pet rats, and they were really nice pets if you don't mind having your ears sniffed a lot. Gambian pouched rats are closer to wild than domesticated rats, and require more knowledge and care in their upkeep, but their owners love them. There are things to be careful of. E.g. if you have two males then it's important to wash hands after handling one as the other may react to the smell of another male with aggression. They also chew a lot. Etc.
TL;DR: I wasn't joking.
