Great one, Dawn! I don't think I could do a meet and greet, I'd be nervous and tongue tied...

It's just for me, I guess most of my concert going days are over. There are still a few selected performers that are on my bucket list. Soda and I are going to see JD Souther in Nashville on Glenn's birthday, November 6th.

Glad for those who are still in 'concert mode' though.
Dreamer hope you and Soda have a wonderful time. I love JD but was not able to make his concert when he was in my area this winter. Certainly bitter sweet seeing him on Glenn's birthday.

I was really surprised how much I enjoyed Joan Jett. Her entire set was just a rockin' good time! Styx was awesome to see live. I own several of their albums but never saw them when they were here. I couldn't pass up an $18 pavilion seat though. Very cool to see them perform Mr. Roboto.

Friday was my 2nd time to see The Beach Boys. Mike Love still sounds great. I loved hearing my 13 year old son sing "Surfin USA" for about 10 minutes from his room!

Saturday was miserably hot and humid, but Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town performed several songs together, which was cool and closed out the set with "Lean On Me". Little Big Town did a nice cover of Elton John's "Rocket Man" that I really enjoyed as well.

Thanks for your reviews, DS! I thought Styx was great when I saw them but Mr. Roboto wasn’t part of the setlist then.

Miranda Lambert will be in my area next month and I really want to go but it’s kind of a busy time for us. Fingers crossed!

I think I read that they were going to bring back Mr. Roboto. So they have already put it back in there.

The Beach Boys are coming to my state (and only 15 minutes away than 3 hours away) in October. They are playing at our new amphitheater they just built this year. We have a lot of big names coming. I saw the prices for the show. Its between $20.00 and $59.00. I might get some tickets.

I saw Joan Jett years ago (decades, even). She opened for The Police, and she totally rocked! So much so that when Sting and company came out on the stage, my brother and I stayed for a bit… but they just did not compare, so we left early. (But, I went to see Joan Jett anyway, so it didn't really matter to me.)

I wanted to go see her so badly when she was in Columbus the beginning of May this year. But her concert was at an outside stadium, and Ohio was having such weird weather, I was (genuinely) afraid it might snow. So I passed...

But I would love to see her again! I don't think she's slowed down one bit.

Personally I love Brian Wilson and recommend if anyone has the chance to see him on tour they do so.

I like that! I’ll try to say that to Mr. Lamm, if I’m not sucking air or passed out from heat stroke. The heat index is 105 today and it’s very humid, as always.

Brian Wilson will be performing The Beach Boys Christmas album in December. That should be interesting. He recently had back surgery but is said to be doing well. The dear man is 75! We’re lucky he’s still around and playing. No one would have predicted that back in the day.
