Richard Bowden posted that it was from "exhaustion and pneumonia."

Yes - I bet! He talked to me a bit about Texas as well, although he didn't come from as far south as I did. When I got especially hyper, he joked that I could use a Quaalude, which he then quickly followed with "only kidding!" Made me laugh.

Wow, how sad that he dies from pneumonia like Glenn....
Soda, I bet it was a hoot to meet him and talk to him about "days gone by" so to speak. I like the joke about the Quaaludes. Does anyone know how old he was ?

I'm not sure how old he was, but I wrote up this little bio of him a while back:

Note: I obviously need to update it.

I saw that too about him dying from exhaustion and pneumonia. I was going to post it, but I couldn't remembered where I saw it. I didn't want to give the wrong information.

Tommy might had been close to Don's age or older.

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley

Me neither. I suppose someone could ask Richard Bowden, since he was the one who posted it on Facebook... but I'm hesitant to do so. I don't want to be seen as prying.

Yes, he would have known. It's hard to believe that these people are gone.
