I forgot to say, thanks for the well wishes before, I will of course be persevering on, it's just so complex and time-consuming.

Brooke - I study Transport Management. We're a rare breed!

It's fun in the US. In the UK & Australia it seems to have been imported wholesale in the last couple of years. There is no tradition of it despite the claims of some that it is based on Celtic rites. We just sit there & hope we don't get too many knocks on the door (we got two) because we don't have any interest in it.

This, basically. I understand it has a long and detailed history in the US, however over here (and going by the above, Australia), it really isn't a thing at all. It's the only day of the year the curtains are closed downstairs at home!

It's been awhile...Not much going on I guess.
Anyway had a great halloween. There were so many cute little kids, and I mean 3-4 yr. olds, it was great. The little ones say the funniest stuff I thought I'd share one. A boy about 4 was dressed as Batman. I said "oh you are Batman"! His reply was "no I'm just pretending to get candy"! Are these kids smart or what. I laughed so hard.

Cool for those who enjoy Halloween. I must say, I do! We had a clown, a dead schoolgirl and witchy woman here. Some of you may have seen my FB pics. I love seeing the kids friends calling around and giving them sweets!

We had a great time with the tricksters too! Treat wanters actually! We had over 40 come to the door even though it was the coldest night of the season so far!
