VERY cool. Just goes to show the breadth of their talent

Well its great to see that Nancy has marked the Farewell 1 gig in Lansdowne road on this night 2006. Yep! This time 5 years ago I was enjoying my first Eagles Concert to the full. Well Lansdowne Road has been remodelled and is now officially the 'Aviva Stadium'. But most of us still refer to it as Landsowne. And the memories of that night remain forever.

I can only imagine that 39 years ago today, when the Eagles LP was released, that they were floating on air... and never even gave thought to the fact they they could be doing this 39 years later and still being as popular, with one of the best selling albums of all time under their belts.

I wonder if they even remember that today was the day it was released... they have such full lives now, I can see it not coming into thought...

I don't know, but I bet if they ever do take a moment to think about it, their minds are blown, too!

I guess it's a tough job keeping track with everything that happened today in Eagles history!

But lets not forget that in the worst Summer in living memory here, 2009 it stopped raining long enough for the Eagles to perform in the RDS Dublin. On this day. 2 years ago

So GA - were there any witnesses to this event?
