Eartha Kitt, Singer of "Santa Baby" passes away on Christmas Day

I dont know about you guys, but I've been a big Eartha Kitt fan for many years. She was known as Cat woman on the Batman TV Series even though she only did three episodes, she was a sultry singer and a dancer. Orson Wells called her the most exciting woman in the world and her ability to capture the hearts of younger men at the age on 81 was just tribute to her ageless sensuality and incredible "cat-like" voice. She seemed to purr when she spoke and sang. If you are not familiar with her, please find a copy of her version of Santa Baby and give it a listen. It will always be the consummate sexy Christmas song for me.
I loved Eartha, I will miss her.

Thanks for posting this, ticky -I had not heard about it either. Her family is in my thoughts. How sad for them that Christmas day will forever be associated with her passing.
