    Default Presidential Debate

Is anyone going to watch the Debate tonight? I hear McCain is going to be there now. I have to say I have been glued to the tv. Everyday there seems to be some new drama going on. It's all mindboggling. When is the VP debate? I'm not sure I can sit through that one. I think Biden is going to chew Palin up. I'm actually feeling sorry for her. McCain should of let her get used to handling the media and off-the-cuff questions. He's made a huge mistake keeping her shielded.

I am planning on watching tonight. The VP nominees are scheduled to go at it on Oct. 2.

I cant watch those things. I tend to get angry and throw things at the TV. If I had a basket of Nerf balls or something like that it'd be ok. But usually Im holding a glass or the remote or Sarah, that just doesnt go over well..
I'll read about it the next day, get Cliffy's opinion, watch The daily show and the Colbert Report then form some opinions *G*

I see Palin did a second Katie Couric interview but this time McCain was there also. I thought that made things even worse for her. He looked like he was there to make sure she didn't screw up anymore. Could they be keeping her any more constrained. Geez, I would be screaming to get away from them, by now, if I were her.

Makes you wonder, if they think that they need to shelter her that much, how do they think she can possibly be ready for the office of vice president.

Well the VP Debate is tonight. I hope it's not too 'cringe inducing'.

Surprise, surprise. Palin did not do too bad Although she was not good at actually giving a direct answer and was a bit too 'folksy' - Mmmmm I'll give her some goody points for not dissolving into a complete wreck. Biden was as expected although I thought he was a little too nice to her.

What did you think of the last debate? I thought McCain gave his best performance yet. Why didn't he do that in all the debates? It's a mystery. I thought Obama did well but was not up to his usual standard. Apparently the polls show Obama as winning the debate. I thought it was very interesting when they were asked about their VP picks. Obama was very clear in stating that he thought Biden would do well if he should have to step into the Presidential spot but McCain did not say the same thing about Palin. He waffled on about how great she was but never actually said 'Yes, I think she would be able to handle being President' - I thought that was a bit of a slap in the face for Palin. What did you think?
