    Default RIP Roger Ebert

Renowned Chicago Sun-Times film critic Roger Ebert has died of cancer at 70.

I've read a lot of his work over the years but I particularly recommend his books about bad films, I Hated... This Movie & Your Movie Sucks as well as his glossaries of movie cliches.

I had seen this on Facebook earlier. I think it was just a day or two ago where he told people that his cancer had returned? I think it was him.

How sad. I agree with TT, he was indeed a real entertainer himself. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

Rest in peace, Roger. I was really sad when I heard the news, but inspired when I read an essay he had written on the topic of his own death and legacy some years ago. Truly life-affirming stuff.
