Eagles mainstay Glenn Frey savors the 'After Hours'
"For the record, we never broke up, we just took a 14-year vacation!"
(Glenn Frey)
This was in today's People Magazine. Sorry for the low quality.

"...not nearly mercenary enough to put together some massive campaign to capitalize on our anniversary."
Well...OK then. They had better be mercenary enough to do it (or something) next year. Since I can't see them doing it for free...

They had indeed!
I love 'Glennie, you did good'. I'd say that means the world to him!
'I must be leaving soon... its your world now'
Glenn Frey 1948-2016 RIP
I loved "The most unattractive thing is middle aged adolescence."

On an internet radio station based in Pennsylvania, Glenn has been 'on the charts' for three weeks. He's at 84 this week with 'After Hours'.

Here is a mixed review of After Hours.
http://www.tunetribune.com/2012/05/1...s-after-hours/
Some of the nitpicking about how he sings some syllables in his rock voice seems unnecessary to me when the entire review basicallyl chides him for NOT making the songs into rock or 'blues' or 'honky tonk' songs. I don't agree that he is 'forced' into his lower register at all. Neither do I agree in any way that he cannot carry off Look Of Love or Shadow Of Your Smile. The 'taste of rural authenticity' stuff is a patronising rebuke of a man who was born in a big city & knows this music like the back of his hand.
Anyway, I guess it's good to see a lengthy review, even if the writer basically wants Glenn to stick to 'rural rock'.
