Thanks UTW for the awards photo and NMB for the description!!! I had seen it just a few weeks ago on FB but that was the first time I saw it too and love it.

Aww. I like this picture. Nice to see Otis in the picture. This must be when they were waiting to go into the room where the president and everybody was going to be.

Poor Mavis. Nobody's talking to her. LOL I wonder what Don and James talking about.

That is a great pic and love seeing Otis there too. Makes me wonder too what Don and James are talking about but also what Joe's saying to Timothy and Al to Martha. Do feel bad for Mavis though, although it was probably just that moment. LOL

That one would be good for the caption thread!

Sadly, it looks as though all those great Eagles in Edwardsville photos by Ken Regan have been taken off Getty (unless I'm doing something wrong).

He was an interesting photographer (R.I.P.).

Speaking of interesting photographers (how's that for a segue), Frans Verpoorten has added more Eagles shots from his archive. I like Glenn's Holland shirt, and man his hair was LONG.

Does anyone here know the photographer's name who did this shot? It's very striking, and would make a fabulous print.

I agree it would make a marvelous print. I have admired it for quiet a while now.

The Guys in Black photo! One of my favorite band pictures. Only thing is Joe is a little too far in the background. I agree, it's striking. I don't know the photographer--it's probably on google.
