Happy Belated Birthday to Sir Paul McCartney! The man is definitely one of the most gifted individuals on the planet.
Also, Happy Birthday to Ann Wilson. This woman has one of the most powerful, yet beautiful female voices ever in rock'n'roll.

Many of you here know my love for The Cars and the late Benjamin Orr--Well a few years back, some of the original Cars reunited, without Benjamin of course and Ric Ocasek, so they had Todd join them. For me, it was ok, but The Cars will always be Ric and Benjamin to me. These 2 songs were originally sung by Benjamin. Just not quite the same.

Hubby and I were just talking this past weekend about Mick Fleetwood's drumming. He has a very distinctive sound which is one of the first things I noticed about Fleetwood Mac all those years ago. You can always tell a Fleetwood Mac song by the drums!
