My two cents on the perm debate:
I believe him. The picture below was taken in 1969 or 1970. Modern perms weren't even invented yet, and they certainly weren't popular yet. Straight hair was all the rage, yet here Mr. Henley is, sporting curly hair.
His hair was wavy/curly to varying degrees right up until 1989, when he started growing his hair longer, wearing it in ponytails, etc. That's 20 years of curls! Do we really think he was perming it for all that time?
Your hair changes when you age. I used to have pretty tight curls, but now in order to get those kind of curls I have to use product. My curls are much looser now, and whenever I get my hair done, stylists always recommend that I straighten my hair because curls are "out" and straight hair is more fashionable. Who's to say that isn't the case with Don?
That's very true. I actually had the opposite happen with me as when I was little my hair was straight but once I hit puberty my hair changed and has been wavy/curly ever since. I got it from my Dad and even though his hair is wavy more like how Glenn's was (mine is more wavy/curly than my Dad's) his hair has started to straighten more now that's he's older. I've read too before once your hair starts graying it will lose the texture (and even more if you dye it) and this can happen, and with the gray hairs I'm starting to get they aren't as wavy as my darker strands.

Imagine waking up to this smile on Christmas morning?.....major sigh....
...and by the way, I'm with you on the perm debate, Soda. I've said all along, I have the exact same hair as Don. When I was younger and washed it it grew out instead of down and was really curly. Now with colouring I keep it short and it's more managable. I do not believe Don would even bother with perming and why would he lie about it all these years later??

...Well it sure makes you wonder the things that some people will say. They can see black and white but they don't seem to notice the grey...
Thanks to BlueJeanBaby for her review on Don's Atlanta concert and her link (AccessAtlanta.com) to some fab photos of him from the concert, where he's looking very well in his white shirt and jacket....
I'm just posting some of my favourites ::
