Glenn Frey on the phone, nice interview!

Glenn did an interview today on the Dennis Miller show, but the link is premium content. I'm listening to it and I'll take notes and let everyone know if there's anything new!

Nothing really new... He hired the kids from Santa Monica High School when he had the 'opportunity' to do a recreation of the making of the album (the teaser) and his intent was to just have the kids there for that, but they were so good, he decided to have them do the concert with him at the Wiltern.

Dennis took the opportunity to tell him that in years to come, the 'standards' that people will admire and want to cover are the great songs written by Henley and Frey. Glenn said that in an era of short careers, they managed to author a long one, and that the credit for that goes to their fans. Nice touch, humble touch, but you know, if the music hadn't been great, the fans would have scattered, so... Dennis backed my thought up completely by telling Glenn again how great the Eagles songs truly are.

Another Google alert! In this artcle Glenn talks about tonight's show & says that he is excited because he will have some of his relatives there.
