I have to agree Flojo - I think both MSG shows were livelier than the Newark and Boston shows. I think the second night at MSG was the best of the four I went to and one of the best of all the shows I've been to. The guys seemed to be enjoying it as much as the fans.

What did the sign say I am wondering???
One sign said something like 'Number one Eagles fan since 1976', and the other was '5 minutes backstage' I think. Don Henley wrote 'Should've stayed in your seats' and signed one of them. How sick would you have been if you'd missed a chance to go backstage!

I forgot about Don encouraging everyone to sing the high notes in TITTL, there were some pretty hilarious shrieks coming from the front
Maybe the atmosphere was so good as they had a couple of weeks off to look forward to, it must be pretty hard going.

Thanks for the safe travel wishes everyone, we've just arrived home. It's so deflating after such a crazy last week. Roll on February....

    I love it

To think they missed 5 minutes backstage. Lol

But kind of you to give the stage hand their sign

Thanks for your posts, Flojo! I haven't heard about this one before, has Don done this at other shows?

I had been wondering about the signs' details as well...thanks for sharing!

I certainly would've been devastated having missed that opportunity! But is that really all it takes to get backstage?! some cleavage and a sign that asks for 5 minutes backstage? I'll remember that! I think I can manage that! haha
If I can't have it all, just a taste will do...

Honestly, it would surprise me if Don's response to that sign meant he wanted to invite them backstage for real. Perhaps he was just kidding.
