I heard an interview with Joe, many decades ago, when he mentioned a project, similar to Disney's Fantasia, where the music is as important as the visuals.
It never materialised but I've always fancied listening to a Walsh movie soundtrack.
Joe's contributed music to about a dozen movies in the past, I'm delighted that I'm going to hear more, particularly if it's, instrumental ambient sound scapes. Rare territory for Joe.
Wow! What a great gig to land! When you think about it, music really enhances the visual whether it's a motion picture, documentary or even animation. Laying the music track against the visual is time-consuming, requires watching the footage and listening to the music over and over, then synching them to achieve the strongest impact. I've watched Bruce do it and am always struck by how much difference just one or two seconds in the synch can make.
I just need a little downtime.........
