He is so gorgeous there!! We do have that video on here somewhere because I remember a discussion to the effect of, "What the HECK are those props on the stage??!!!"

Yep - I would have loved to have been there to see them perform Rose of Cimarron - it's by far my favorite POCO song. Even though that version in the lower register doesn't measure up to their '70's version, IMO, it's still awesome.

Sweet! Such distinctive voices.
If I've posted in wrong place, please move. Should I post it to Don's board too?

Thanks, SS, never heard this! Does Don have a solo line? I missed it.
"In 2009, John Fogerty recorded the song with the Eagles' Don Henley and Timothy B. Schmit, for his The Blue Ridge Rangers Rides Again album." I wonder if this is one of those they sent in digitally.
Aaah, thank you!
Oh is that what Don sings, good to know cos I've never heard it clearly enough, I like the lyrics though and find them quite funny
Rick Nelson wrote the lyrics after he was booed playing Madison Square Garden in the 70s - he had long hair and was playing new songs, and apparently, a lot of his audience was expecting the clean-cut guy from the old TV show to be singing nothing but his hits from the 60s.
I bet Don and Tim could relate to a degree, although they've never had a song booed (as far as I know) and the Eagles are still a top-selling act.
oh I didn't know that, explains Don's line but I'm still wondering about the "Yoko and her walrus" and "Mr. Hughes" bits
