Hmm, I haven't heard about it, Melanie... What is the name of it?

I watched (and recorded) a James Taylor special the other night, on Vintage TV. It was great. I love how he smiles a lot while he's singing and really looks around at the audience members.

NOW WHERE ARE THOSE FRONT ROW TICKETS, DAMMIT?!

He's coming to Memphis at the end of the month - been sold out for a couple weeks at least. He needs to play bigger venues!

Okay. I am still having no luck on Ticketmaster, and the BIC (venue) site is only offering me Upper Balcony, which I don't want. The best available on broker sites is Row F, Block C (right in front of the stage, in the stalls.) After that, there's not much on offer. They did have Row D, but that has now disappeared. The only reason I didn't buy Row D is because they were only selling them as a single ticket, or three tickets together.

So, I don't know what to do. I am trying to play the waiting game, but the BIC isn't a huge venue, and it seems that they're selling fast. Now that the Row D tickets have gone, I'm a little worried. What if the Row F ones go, and I'm left with nothing? Obviously I'd love to be front row, but row six is good, right?

    What would you do?

Oh Lou, I feel your pain! I'm leaning toward advising you to grab the row six tix, but of course I'd feel terrible if you listened to my advice and then found you could have gotten better seats. Go with your gut!

Thanks, Cathy. I have just bought the Row F tickets from Get Me In. My instinct was to grab them - although I know more may become available. I have been checking everywhere for the past few weeks and they seem to be selling out fast. As long as my tickets are what they say they are (they'd better be!), I am happy. I just couldn't risk not getting a seat at all, or only being left with the Upper Balcony.

So, on the 14th of July, I am off to see James Taylor. I can't wait!

I have just received my order confirmation (Block C, Row F) and I called the BIC to make sure that Row F is 6 rows from the front - I know some venues are numbered funny. It is! I feel relaxed now and happy with my decision.
