Perhaps Soda could merge this with the existing Jackson Browne thread.

Hoping to get tickets for Peoria, but we'll see.. It'd be cool for me to see him live! Love his music.

Just got 3rd row orchestra pit tickets in Peoria! \m/

I love his music and it will be nice to go to a relaxed show for a change (that said, I love my rock n' roll but it is nice for a change to be in a theater setting).

    way to go Austin !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    so happy for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Once, Eric Clapton did a blues show ..all tickets were 500.oo.
He came to the Borgata to do a highroller show invitation only on sat nite then did the blues show on sunday night that I got 4th row tickets for.
Some people thought that it was a disappointment casue it was mostly blues songs but I did not care. It was a pleasure to just be there and expierence it.
SO this will be the same thing. Just a little different but so unique
So happy for you dude and I cant wait to read your review

I have to admit, after getting Looking Into You, A Tribute to Jackson Browne I was afraid to listen to it! I love Jackson so much I guess I was worried that nothing could compare. But, although I've only listened to the first few tracks, I am very impressed with it so far. It's fun to listen to the different renditions of his songs. Today I heard For Everyman, my favorite JB song and I thought it was wonderful! I look forward to hearing the rest of it.

Has anybody else heard the cd yet? Any thoughts?

My dad invited me to go with him to the Easton, PA show but it's literally the one weekend in August I don't have any plans (I'm going to be out of town literally every other weekend that month). I told him to go on his own and have a great time. Hope the rest of you do too!

Woo hoo, Austin! I'm sure you will love it! Fabulous seats!

    You too, Pm!

If I went it would be to St. Louis, but the dates are really bad for me and I want to see him with his full band....I see he will have it at a couple shows out east, but this is solo acoustic. Darn!

I wonder if Sarah Watkins will be along this time? I enjoyed her.

Yes, likewise! It will be great to meet you!

Looking forward to the show. I think I'll play "Running On Empty" (The LP) tomorrow night (which is my "Vinyl Night" although I do spin records on other days, but Friday is more of a celebration, lol!) in celebration. Should be great. I really hope to hear Doctor My Eyes. I love that song - my favorite piano riff!
