It appears that they also were in OKC on June 14, 1972 opening for Jethro Tull. Would they have played in OKC twice within 6 weeks? They apparently were with Yes on Aug. 1. Here's some info from SugarMegs:

    Eagles
Venue: Fair Grounds Pavilion, Oklahoma, USA
    Date: 14 Jun 1972
    Taper: Unknown
    Source: Audience
    Transfer: CD-R from trade > EAC > FLAC Level 8 > you
Sound Quality: B in my rating and ears....

    6 Get Up Baby
    7 Nightingale
    8 Earlybird

    Notes:
A bit distant + hiss, but nevertheless an interesting
dive into the very early days of The Eagles.
Since I got this in a trade I dont have any info
about lineage, taping equipment etc etc.

But, the Yes website shows they were in OKC on Aug. 1 with Yes. Did they play OKC twice in a 6 week period.

They might have played it twice in six weeks, although that is a bit odd! Still, both dates have corroborating info...

It was today last year that the Eagles played Busy Being Fabulous at the CMA Awards (which were on last night and I don't even need to look to know they didn't win.)

Anyway, here's the video from it:

Lady Antebellum won. I figured Rascal Flatts would.

And no, they weren't there. Surprise!

I didn't watch it because I had friends over for the evening. But, I wasn't planning on watching it anyway cause I figured it'd just be more of the same.

Well, today is the day the Eagles got together to film the Travis Tritt video which led to the finalization of a reunion - er, resumption, that is. If you wanna watch it, here it is:

I don't think we give Travis the kudos he deserves. Thank you Travis for getting those boys back together!!! I have to say, that is the hottest, sexiest Timothy look, ever!!! He is so smokin' in that video. Also, for me, that is where I think Don is most beautiful.
