I loved Chicago when I was in my teens...I think I saw them 3 times in the seventies...and today I have a Chicago song stuck in my head...You're a Hard Habit to Break...

you'll have to let us know how they are when you go seen them in May Keith...oh and good luck at the casino

bring your dancing shoesdude cause they are a hard band to stay in your seat when they are up on stage rocking away.
have a blast and enjoy the show.

Thanks Z. Hard Habit is a great song with Cetera & Champlin both singing lead. Too bad neither are with the group anymore. I'll be sure to post a review. 3X in the 70s! WOW!

Thanks TT. I'll have to leave my dancing shoes at home. If not, I'll end up doing my only move... the white boy overbite. But, I can stand and clap like a pro!

Thanks WF88! Can't say that I'm as excited about it as I would be an Eagles show, but I'm still counting on a good time.

    How was it?

Just announced today that Chicago is coming my way in May. I will probably go. Will be I think 9 times if I do.

Last time I saw them with Earth Wind & Fire Great show

Now if only the Doobie Brothers would come.

Although it was a bit disappointing to find that their "new" album wasn't really a band album (even though they could do what they wanted), it's great that there's so much of Robert Lamm there for a change.

"Another Trippy Day" is a great one as well. Even the obligatory Jason Scheff ballad has a deeper lyric than usually.

It was a good show, especially when you consider that a lot of the songs are being covered by folks who did not sing them originally. I hate to sound old, but my only complaint was the volume. It was a small venue and they had it cranked way up. I still enjoyed it and am glad I got to see this band at least once.
