Glenn has said before that about halfway through the making of The Long Run he decided he'd had enough of the Eagles. He agreed to tour to promote the album, but he wasn't about to start the process over with a new studio album, so he knew that would probably be their last tour - and thus, that show their last show. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he designed the setlist with that in mind. Knowing he wasn't going to do any more shows would also explain his willingness to finally exchange physical threats with Felder.
Here is the 'never performed live' thread if anyone wishes to comment.
Glenn performed 'It's Your World Now' at the songwriter's event, but it's still on the list of songs that the Eagles have never performed live.

You can't change the world but you can change yourself.
If Boyd Elder's art opening counts, we now know they performed Get You In The Mood live

And I dream I'm on vacation 'Cause I like the way that sounds,
It's a perfect occupation for me.
I want to hear Teenage Jail. And for that matter The Greeks Don't Want No Freaks, The Disco Strangler, an Happy New Year.
