How was it, shun? Hope you had fun.

The last time we saw the Alter Eagles, some of their equipment didn't turn up so they had to play the first part of the set without any mikes/amps and ask the crowd not to chat too much. They were still really good and great value with tickets a tenth the price of tickets for the real thing.

It was an awesome show. I really enjoyed it. They played a lot of Eagles songs before the show started. So it was fun to hear a lot of Eagles songs.

Its funny. The guy who sang all of Don's song never went to the drums. He played the guitar majority of the night. Actually rhythm guitar. It was interesting that the drummer and one of the lead guitarist shared Glenn songs. But the lead guitarist sang majority of them. He also sang Joe's songs. And the bass player only sang one Timothy song(LWKUA)

They would show clips from different special. A few videos from Farewell 1, HFO and a 70s music show.

They had an amazing 27 year old playing all the leads. He was amazing.

Here's the songlist for that night.
    Hotel California
    The Long Run
    One of These Nights
    Life’s Been Good
    Love Will Keep Us Alive
    Already Gone
    Lyin’ Eyes
    Peaceful Easy Feeling
    James Dean
No More Walks in the Wood(I think this was a beautiful arrangement they did)
    Hole in the World
    Take It to the Limit
    Heartache Tonight
    Rocky Mountain Way
    Tequila Sunrise
    Witchy Woman
    Life in The Fast Lane
    Take It Easy
    Best of My Life
I Dreamed There Was No War
    No More Cloudy Days
How Long (I think they sung this song)

When I come back to Branson next year, I will definitely see this show again.

Sounds like a great tracklist. How similar were their voices/playing to the real thing. Obviously it must be hard to get someone who can sing like Don Henley while also playing drums but if they can approximate the whole sound of the band, they're doing grreat.

Glad they were good. Showing clips is a great idea too.

The guy who sang all of Don's songs didn't really sound like him, but he had a great voice. It was kinda close. Now The lead guitarist who shared Glenn's song with the drummer sounded more like Joe, but of course he did sing all of Joe's songs.

I think the bass player was the closest of sounding like the guys. He sounded like Timothy.

They are some really talented guys. I would definitely see their show again next year.

OT. The bass player and the drummer is also in the Journey tribute show. Bass player is the lead guitarist in that band. He can play a mean guitar. I saw that show last night. The lead singer is a former American Idol contestant. Now the lead singer sounds like Steve Perry.

It would be even better if they looked like the Eagles, c. 1973. The Alter Eagles do sound like them though.

The bass player had the long hair like Timothy. The lead guitarist had the Joe look down a little too.

There is an Eagles band that plays in my area every so often. I have to find out what their name is. I heard they were good.

I would be interested in seeing tribute bands but I am always afraid I would be too critical.
