It's an interview with JD Souther, but Don and Glenn are mentioned quite a bit.

You can't change the world but you can change yourself.
Here's an article talking about the Eagles playing at the MGM Grand, but it mentions that they had previously done a 30 song, 3 hour set?? Well, when was that? Anyone at the last shows in Vegas, can you confirm this? I thought it was the 19 song set we saw in Atlantic City....
When was the last time they did a 3 hour set? Like LROOE tour, if I'm not mistaken, or even before that one..
Can one of you experts answer, because I thought the 3 hour set was LONG gone!

Just ignore it. There's so many errors in this piece of journalistic crap it's not worth discussing.

While we're waiting for one of the experts... they were still doing the 3 hour setlist in December 2010 (Australia) as part of the LROOE tour. I would assume they were still doing it in Asia as they finished up that tour in 2011, and since then I think they've pretty much only done festivals (e.g. Hop Farm in the UK) and one-off stuff (Vegas, Vegas, Vegas & a few others!).

Well - I don't claim to be an expert, but I have been to a show or two. I did a little research in the concert review thread, and it seems like the last 3-hour (give or take a few minutes) show in the U.S. was the Louisville, KY show in October, 2010. (Guess I was lucky to be at that one). By the time they hit Europe in the summer of 2011, the setlist had been scaled back. Here is a setlist Koala posted in one of those threads ...
1. Seven Bridges Road
2. How Long
3. Take It to the Limit
4. Hotel California
5. Peaceful Easy Feeling
6. I Can’t Tell You Why

But those were the last of the 3-hour shows. Here's hoping they bring 'em back next year!
Is that set list for a 3 hour show? 21 songs wouldn't be 3 hours.
The set list in Atlantic City was 19 songs, & it was nowhere near 3 hours, In fact I don't think it was even 2 hours??????
When I saw them the other night it was 1 hour, 11 songs.
That Tokyo set list looks like the LROOE setlist, so that would be the 3 hours with a break in there, looks right.
Thing is that they did that in Tokyo, so that was their LROOE show finally getting over to Tokyo.
It just seemed to me like that article we were originally referring to the author was insinuating that the Eagles were doing a 30 song 3 hour show in Vegas, which we all know that is NOT going to be the case. I just thought it was pushing the envelope there, trying to sell tickets!
