If I had to pick a Top 10 from the songs off of the two lists, my list would look like this ...

    1. Hotel California
    2. Heartache Tonight
    3. Take It Easy
    4. New Kid In Town
    5. Take It To the Limit
    6. Lyin’ Eyes
    7. Already Gone
    8. Peaceful Easy Feeling
    9. The Long Run
    10. Life In the Fast Lane

And mine, which turns out to be more similar to the Classic Rock list.

    1. Hotel California
    2. Take It Easy
    3. Take It To The Limit
    4. Lyin' Eyes
    5. Heartach Tonight
    6. Already Gone
    7. Lilfe In The Fast Lane
    8. One Of These Nights
    9. Peaceful Easy Feeling
    10. New Kid In Town

Their list contains no LROOE songs. My own top 10 would not include TITTL, AG or OOTN (OOTN would be in the Top 20). It is in a somewhat different order from what I have listed here.

A place in Texas is having Nest Fest next month. They've asked the Eagles to perform and the Eagles have not yet said 'no'. Of course, it's less than a month away and they've not yet said 'yes', either.

That reminds me of Joe's 4th of July gig at the high school. I guess you never know! Presumably they'd be playing for free or a greatly reduced fee; I doubt these people could pull together the kind of funds the Prince of Monaco did to get the Eagles to play.

    But I have to say...

I had to laugh when I read the photo caption:

"Don Henley, Glenn Frey, and the rest of The Eagles have been invited to perform at Nest Fest 2012. They have yet to respond."

Umm... the photo was of DH, GF, Randy & Bernie!! Don't think they'll be getting that lineup somehow...

I would be shocked if the Eagles played this gig, unless one of Don's kids goes to one of those schools.....
