Brooke - did you know that photo of Stevie and Lindsey is one I took? It's one of, like, five photos I've taken in a concert in my whole life that have come out well. It gets circulated a lot on the internet.

Well, here I am at home on my birthday. I had plans to go out with a friend, but she wound up having to stay home and watch her kids, so we're going to get together next Tuesday. Of course, it won't be my birthday next Tuesday! I'm bummed.

I could still go out, but I live in such a podunk town that going out to a nice place for dinner means going to Memphis (1 hr) or at least Tupelo (30 min) and it's already almost 6:00. I'm wondering - should I drive all the way to Tupelo and have dinner by myself, or stay home and celebrate with a glass of champagne?

ETA: I'm doing Tupelo. I can't just sit here on my birthday.
