It was a good interview. That writer for the Telegraph did a good article on Glenn and the Eagles just after Glenn died. I'm pleased to see Timothy acknowledge both sides. What I've been thinking is that we talk about shades of grey rather than things being black and white but with Glenn, it seems that they got both black and white but never "wishy-washy" (to quote Timothy). We have to assume that the good stuff outweighed the bad.

Tim drops the f-bomb! That's kinda rare, innit?

Thanks for posting that interview - I saw it myself this morning and was planning to put it up here. Unfortunately it now seems to be on Premium only - when I first saw this morning it you could read the whole thing for free. However, it does say that if you register you can read one free article per week, so you don't necessarily have to pay to read it. I'd agree it's a good piece. Tim comes across as a great guy - when doesn't he? I can understand why he wanted Personally I thought it was interesting to hear how he keeps his success in perspective.

My only real nit pick is that I noticed that there was a photo of Tim with Glenn which I think was incorrectly captioned - it looks to me like it was from the softball match against the Rolling Stone journalists, which would date it to 1978, was dated as 1977, when Randy was still in the band.

Timothy describes the drug use and promiscuity from the 70s as 'we had a lot of fun.' I don't think he's an angel

Oh my! Not sure if I want to see gentle Woodstock doing that. I know he's a normal person though, not an angel. Rusty Young mentioned something about the long line of girls who would want to meet Timmy after every Poco show.

Aww, Funk! Thank you, bro. We're saying that a lot these days. That was a very interesting article. I hadn't been able to get past the Premium thingie on the Telegraph site.

    Love this quote:
“There was a pecking order. It was Glenn and Don’s band, no question. And they knew what they were doing. I learned a lot from them. A great song has to stand on its own, just singing and playing, and the rest is frosting. But you have to pay attention to the frosting.”

I know this is The Sun (Murdoch tabloid) but it's a good interview:

You beat me to posting it. Thanks UTW. IM IMPRESSED. Dare we think that as TBS is in the U.K. there might be a few concert dates forthcoming? I missed the expando tour but if he had a few U.K. I'd definitely go. Then I'll have seen at least one solo show from each Eagle (assuming I get to see Joe in June in Newark)
