As an aside, has anyone ever noticed how many bassists are called John? I can think of several of the top of my head:

John Entwistle - The Who
John Deacon - Queen
John Illsley - Dire Straits
Happy Birthday to the late Robin and Maurice Gibb of the Bee Gees. They would had been 67 today if they were alive.
Even though Barry is my favorite, I always loved Robin angelic voice.
Ohh, that's sad. And yesterday would have been the angel-voiced Carl Wilson's 70th birthday.
Happy Birthday to David Bowie. He would had turned the big 7-0 today if he was still alive.
Also happy 82nd Birthday to Elvis!!

Brothers for life. RIP Glenn
I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley
