    LOLOL@ Dawn

I only experienced disco from the radio. I was an 80s teenager. And I definitely listened to my share of synth-pop. Yes, I am a proud owner of a "Do They Know It's Christmas?" 45. Got it the first day KMart had it for sale! LOL.

But opinions, especially those about music, are so subjective. Anything I post about music that I like or dislike absolutely has a very large JMHO before and after it! LOL. We all react to music in a different way, and different songs spark different emotions in each of us. Different songs "hit" our ears in certain ways. So there's always room for someone else to give an analysis. That's what makes the world go 'round!

I always like to think of ATTIG's inclusion as similar to why the only time it ever made the set was Long Night at Wrong Beach; a very sly way of the band (probably Glenn more so than anyone) saying 'that's it'.

Really hard to do, but here goes...

    1. Take It Easy--So classic, so cool, so Eagles

    2. Lying Eyes--Beautiful harmonies, love a good "story song". Also love Glenn's "my oh my" in this song. Was going to have MyOhMy for my name on the board, but saw that you all abbreviated with initials...didn't want to be Mom!

    3. One of These Nights--This one feels so 70s to me that I can go back to dancing and singing along with my friends on a warm summer night

    4. Peaceful Easy Feeling
    5. Tequila Sunrise
    6. Desperado
    7. Take It to the Limit--As sung live in concert by Randy, probably moves up to number 1. Just thought I'd throw that in, YEF, as you started a thread about songs on albums versus live

    8. Already Gone--A great breakup song when sung at the top of your lungs
    9. Best of My Love
    10. Witchy Woman

Oh my I must say how I hated disco!

And this is very hard for me to do after about the first half!

    4. One of These Nights
    5. Already Gone
    6. Take It To The Limit
    7. Lyin' Eyes
    8. Tequila Sunrise
    9. The Best of My Love
    10. Desperado

Disco is a genre that I dislike more than I like. It's definitely my least favorite "70s" genre.

    As for my list:

    1. Already Gone
    2. Take It Easy
    3. One of These Nights
    4. Lyin' Eyes
    5. Desperado
    6. Witchy Woman
    7. Peaceful Easy Feeling
    8. Tequila Sunrise
    9. Take It To The Limit
    10. The Best of My Love

My list is pretty firm. I love all of them, but to varying degrees.

For some reason, I was thinking that the band didn't have anything to do with Greatest Hits Volume 2. It seems like I read that they were surprised to see it coming out..or something to that effect. Hard to remember.

I have heard similar. Either way, I hope ATTIG was included for the sentiments I listed

BB - I remember hearing the same thing about Vol.2. Elektra/Asylum knew it would sell, especially after the monster sales of Vol.1. I think this was either right before or just after it was officially announced they had broke up.
