Actually, I meant the album as opposed to the song - just to avoid confusion. He played slide on 3 tracks on the album.

Certainly through the years there are tons of Bands and Artists backed by the Es, even many of those not necessarily related to them, aka Elton John (Duos counts?), some we never know that fact like Richard Marx.

Take my new favorite Thomas Jefferson Kaye, I am about to post a thread about him. My best.

    Default Eagles backing vocals

We were talking about Glenn's backing vocals in another thread & we mentioned a few others. Thought it would be interesting to hear what some of our favorites are. There's so many & sure some that many of us aren't even aware of.

One of my all-time favorites is Glenn, Don, and Timothy on Seger's Fire Lake. I love the Eagles and I love Bob Seger, so for me, it's almost utopia.

Off hand, the couple that come to mind are Ramblin' Gamblin' Man because like I said, heard it just the other day again. Just love how Glenn's voice is so prominent in it. It leaves no doubt who's singing that part.

Also love Timothy on all the Steely Dan stuff we love Steeły Dan so always thought that was pretty cool.

Timothy on Look What You've Done To Me by Boz Scaggs.

A more recent one is Garden Party by John Fogerty backed by Timothy & Don.

Definitely have to agree with this. Timothy's voice is a great compliment to Boz on this track.

Also love the work Timothy for the "Cry Baby" soundtrack. His voice is a stand-out on both Mr. Sandman and Sh-Boom (not exactly 'background' vocals but similar). Both tracks can be found on YouTube if you haven't already heard them.

Being a Jackson Browne fan, I will start with his For Everyman album, my personal favorite. Don Henley backs him on Colors of the Sun, and of course we can't forget Soda's favorite Red Neck Friend, backed by Mr. Glenn Frey.

An interesting side note on Red Neck Friend - the great piano credited to Rockaday Johnnie, is actually none other than Elton John, who was in the states illegally at the time.

Also on this album's credits you have to love this line:

All songs written by Jackson Browne except "Take It Easy" written by Glenn Frey and Jackson Browne.
