I think that all of us know #13 . That "picture" of Bob at the top of the article is very creepy!
    I didn't know number 10!

Number Ten: His Only Number One Pop Hit Almost Wasn’t His. Seger’s “Shakedown” was his first and only number one hit on the pop charts. The song is featured on the soundtrack for 1987’s Beverly Hills Cop II, and in fact, the song was meant for Glenn Frey! However, Frey lost his voice right before he was supposed to record the song, so he called on Seger to take his place instead.

    Default Bob Seger's Nine Tonight

I just bought this album over the weekend. It was my first time to hear it cover to cover. Great album that's right on par with "Live Bullet" in my opinion.

No need to apologize, DS. We do have a lot of threads on the board - over 6,100 right now so we certainly don't expect members to be aware of all of them, especially if you are new here and haven't had a chance to browse around. So, please feel free to start new threads on topics you want to discuss. If we already have a thread, we moderators can move it. We do this just for the sake of better organization on the board and it helps makes it easier for members to search for things later on.

I hope and pray that all turns out good for him and he is able to hit the road again.

It sounds like something temporary. I too hope and pray he gets well soon.

The deluxe edition of Bob's new album will include Glenn Song, and the album is dedicated to Glenn. I will be interested to hear his take on Leonard Cohen's Democracy.

Thank you, Mr Seger. Thank you.

Bob Seger talks more about Glenn. The man is a hero. He is doing Glenn proud. He mentions photos of them together. He says he did a guest spot on the Sirius channel. There is no mention of this in that thread; perhaps it hasn't been broadcast yet.

The contrast with Glenn's bandmates is staggering.
