Hmmm. I like both but I'm gonna have to go for Help Me Through The Night.

Bernie Studio Guitar Solo: Take It Easy or Peaceful Easy Feeling?
Peaceful Easy Feeling - he absolutely nails it and it fits so well into the song. It's to him what AG is to Glenn or OOTN to Felder.
----------------
Second half opener - Tequila Sunrise or Pretty Maids All in a Row?
Pretty maids. I think to put TS there it would totally knock the show out of synch. Also when people are still returning from the bathroom or bar they would disturb it too much.
Instrumentals - I Dreamed There Was No War or Silent Spring
'I must be leaving soon... its your world now'
Glenn Frey 1948-2016 RIP
I was talking more in general but that's OK
It would have to be IDTWNW - it's absolutely beautiful and I would probably rank it as one of Glenn's finest hours in the Eagles. Shame it isn't longer!

James Gang song performed by the guys - Walk Away or Funk #49?
'I must be leaving soon... its your world now'
Glenn Frey 1948-2016 RIP
First of all, I agree about IDTWNW - it is a beautiful piece of music. You could always do what I do, tlr - whenever I play it, I always hit repeat and play it through a second time. And for the life of me, I can't figure out why they don't play it in concert.
Now, as far as GA's question, it is almost impossible for me to choose between these songs. If I was choosing the song, I'd probably give a slight edge to The Boys of Summer. However, in Farewell I, You Belong To the City's placement in the set was the transition point where the show started really rocking and the song was incredible live. Therefore, it gets a slight edge live.

Now, I do another instrumental choice: Wasted Time Reprise or I Dreamed There Was No War
"People don't run out of dreams: People just run out of time ..."
Glenn Frey 11/06/1948 - 01/18/2016
Oh definitely 'I Dreamed There Was No War'. Again, its a totally under-utilised piece of music and could have had some position in the HOTE show. Hell, it even won a grammy!
'New' or 'Old' Witchy Woman ?
'I must be leaving soon... its your world now'
Glenn Frey 1948-2016 RIP
New - I really like the intro to the old one but the new one is a more listenable package for me.

Same question but with Heartache Tonight: old or new?
