Lovely to have that summary, thanks for posting link. Know what question I wish one of these reporters had asked?--if they were shock or surprised (or enlightened) by anything their former bandmates said in their "current" interviews. I'm not sure if they would admit if they had learned anything, but I'd love to know their reaction to what Bernie and Don said. (Poor Randy doesn't get much time or follow-up in the doc, sadly, so I can't imagine they were surprised by any of his comments.) And I'm sure their thoughts about Felder haven't changed much. But I'd love to hear their thoughts on Bernie, who frankly, seemed the most reflective and mature of the bunch. Maybe hearing his thoughts in the doc helped pave the way for his possible return to the band for the tour...?

Just reviving this thread because today marks the one-year anniversary of the premiere of the History of the Eagles documentary at the Sundance Film Festival. I still regret not going to this, but I tried to make up for it ever since. Hard to believe it's been a year already.

Wow Dreamer! Thanks for the reminder. For me, it seems forever ago! Of course that may be because I have watched it so many times PLUS so much has happened since then. Sure hope they have a HOTE tour dvd to go with the documentary.

I regret it, too, but I guess we can't do EVERYTHING, lol. Still, it would have been awesome to see that on the big screen, and get a glimpse of our guys doing interviews to boot.

HH and I had discussed going, we'd just bought the front row tix to the Vegas show in Dec and with Christmas expenses as well, it just seemed too much. I have to say, the fact it was in Salt Lake City played into my thinking on it as well. If it had been in LA or another warm place, I'd have probably spent the money and justified the time off.

The main reason that I decided not to go is because it seemed too risky to go out there with no guarantee of getting in to the premiere. I should have known better though - apparently it wasn't a problem. Oh well - it's not like I never got to see it so I'm not beating myself too much. Mildly disappointing, but not devastating!

UndertheWire found this interview that was given during the time of the London Sundance Film Festival. She posted it in another thread, but I thought it may be a good idea to post it here as well. I love how the guys reflect back on their history and share how their perspectives have changed with time and maturity. It's not very long and definitely worth reading.
