Finally getting caught up on The Border after a long absence. Life has been hectic lately with work and family. But, in spite of that and a bad foot, I had a really fun trip to New York and Massachusetts to see our guys, and to meet up with old friends and visit relatives. Life's Been Good to me so far!

Thumbs up Re: What Are You Doing Right Now

Hi I am a new member in Scotland! Never used forums before and no idea how to create my own posts, so forgive me I guess I am doing this wrong!
Many years ago one of my Eagles CD's which I have now mislaid had a live version of Hotel California on it which I loved. It had a really really long intro mostly piano /organ which lasted forever and slowly started throwing in chords from the track which the crowd started to recognise and started cheering, and suddenly the band were into the song proper. I have tried to identify the album thorugh various means for a few years with no success and it's doing my head in!
I would be really grateful if someone could put me out of my misery and tell me what the album was so I can buy it again.
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give.

It is possible that it was MTV unplugged recording in 1994? I just found that on the net so mebbe I was just wrecked when I heard it first and can't quite remember it right!! If it was MTV recording can this be downloaded?
Maybe I got the bit about Piano/organ wrong! It was a long time ago!

It sounds like the Hell Freezes Over version of the song, which is avaliable on CD & DVD. There is no piano or organ in the intro, just acoustic guitar.
