    Default RIP Tommy Nixon

L and m's Fastlane report that during the show last night, Timothy announced that long time Eagles roadie and tour manager Tom Nixon has passed away.
He was very close to Glenn and was Glenn's tour manager during the 14 year vacation.
Tom accompanied the Frey family to the Kennedy Center honours.
    RIP Tom

Wow, so sad about Tommy Nixon. I remember watching Tavis Smiley in 2012 when AH was out. Glenn stated Tommy was one of his closest friends and that they had been friends for over 40 years. RIP Tommy.

That is very sad. I have heard Glenn say twice that Tommy had been his best friend for decades.

Very sad. RIP. Glenn's death must have been shattering for him. Perhaps this should be a separate topic.

If anyone can post a photo of Tom at the KCH I would appreciate it because I don't recall seeing him there.

Saw it on Eagles Fastlane FB Page this morning and made a mention in another threat. Tim had apparently announced it at his concert. Another sad day for the Eagles family.

Here is a photo. As FP said, this should probably be in a separate thread.

This is sad but also good to see that he was treated as family for the KCH.

I have not seen a picture of him in years and years. Who are the other two guys ? Are they Glenn's brothers? Don't look too much like them from old pictures I have seen. TY

Gosh Deacon is tall ! At least a head taller than the other guys. In the picture of the family with Pres. Obama and Michelle Obama, Deacon is just about the same height as Pres. Obama and he is 6'2.
