Brothers for life. RIP Glenn
I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley
L & M's Fastlane who went to the show say there were terrible thunderstorms which meant Don didn't take the stage until 10.15. The show was cut short due to the curfew. Some fans were angry that the show was not cancelled and rescheduled. It must have been a difficult decision whether to perform or cancel.
I guess outdoor shows are always risky.
I was debating on going to this show but after there was about 6 inches of water in the streets, we decided it would be best to skip it. Glad I didn't go. It seems that there was very poor communication between the venue and fans.
