Tim prounounces it the way I do. Why would an "A" be silent? Then again, the "E" in Frey is silent, so I don't know.

    Thank you, counselor!

Tim pronounces it just like Graham, fyu-RAY. I hadn't thought the A was silent exactly, just unemphasized, something like FYU-ray.

The E in Frey isn't silent but pronounced in the Germanic way which is where the name originates. Think of it as being like the word 'eye'.

Ah, my bad. I'm not familiar with word/name origins.

My friend, who I buy records from, sent me Picking up the Pieces as a free gift this month. I can't wait to give it a spin.

    Very cool, AG!

Don't know if you've made your way to the threads about Poco's induction into the Colorado Hall of Fame earlier this year, so here's a little something for you...

very cool seeing Timothy to Paul Cotton's left, singing the same song together 40 years apart

Let us know what you think of the album!!

Thanks for the videos MC. I hadn't seen the 2 Hall of Fame ones. I hope to give the album a listen to tonight or tomorrow evening.

I haven't had time to listen to the album yet (last night became a Bob Seger night), but I have a question. Does Randy Meisner play on the album? I didn't see his name anywhere on the album, but I thought that he played on the first album?

I'll wait for a Poco expert to verify this, but it's my understanding that they kept Randy's bass parts on the album. They (Messina and Furay) allegedly removed Randy's backing vocals and replaced his face on the front cover with Jimmy Messina's dog - which Randy claimed not to mind "because I love dogs."
