Dave and band were so good. Crash Into Me, Warehouse, The Space Between, What Would You Say, and also a tribute to Prince when they segued from Jimi Thing straight into Prince's Sexy MF-ER (pardon.)
They didn't do Ants Marching, which was a disappointment, but, hey, it was a terrific show.

Really excited for today as I'm going to see one of my current favorite country bands Old Dominion for the first time today!!! It's part of Red, White, and Country, a newer festival we have here in Columbus and it's my first time going to it as well. Old Dominion is co-headlining it with Cole Swindell, and the openers are Brett Young & Brooke Eden. It starts this afternoon and on one hand I'm so glad the weather is only in the mid 70s as it's usually so much warmer, but there is a chance of rain so hoping that stays away till after it's over.

Hope you have fun and that the weather holds out, Buffy.

The only concerts around my area are hip hop artists. (I do some hip hop, but not enough to go to a concert.) The big city can't attract artists or bands of other genres anymore.

Scored free Duran Duran and Def Leppard tickets from the Ticketmaster settlement vouchers. Hoping they free up some more shows. I still have 9 left to use !!

No. I'm a 3-4 hour drive away. I was talking about Albany, Georgia when I said "big city". The closet city to me that can get big name artists is Tallahassee.

The Beach Boys, Peter Frampton, and Boz Scaggs played there this year. Those are some much bigger and better quality acts than Albany can get.

I had a great time and the weather turned out good!!! Did sprinkle a bit, but the sun came out and I didn't have sun screen so now have a sunburn. LOL The weird thing too was I don't think my country radio station and the venue they had it at expected as many people that came but there was so many people. Well over how many they had the past two years. Plus, they ended up opening the gates almost 2 hours after they were supposed to so even with us getting there later as we were going to skip the first artist we ended up not missing anything. However, we ended up leaving after Old Dominion since everything got pushed back and it was getting late. Hopefully next year they'll move it to one of our sports stadiums because it would be a better option.

Old Dominion was amazing though and I'm so happy I got to see them!!! Love their songs and they were funny interacting with us between songs (and in one case noticing a fight that broke out and notified the security guys during the song and joked about it as the rest of us were there to have fun LOL). Plus the three singer/songwriters in the band took turns singing lead which I was hoping they would since they didn't do it on their recent album. They did a great cover too of John Mellencamp's "Pink Houses" too. Hope to see them again but in a traditional concert set up instead of a festival. I never was a fan of festivals. The openers were good too.

Now looking forward to seeing Keith Urban on the 14th!!!
