    Default The Country Bears

I remember we were just recently discussing this in another thread, but I thought I'd start a separate thread about this. It was 8 years ago today, in 2002, that the movie The Country Bears was released featuring Don (and Bonnie Raitt). Here is a clip:

I was just wondering about something. I think I've probably heard the story before, but I don't remember how Don ended up in this movie. Can anyone around here refresh my memory?

This whole movie was up on YouTube at one point. I watched it - Not my cup of tea. I have no idea how Don became involved. Maybe Azoff thought it was a good idea.

Hate this movie!! Every time I have to put it in for the little ones, I cringe and leave the room. I will however, return during a certain part of the movie. I just think the bears are creepy!

Ok, today I saw the first and the last times The Country Bears!
Yesterday I had read that the movie today in the danish TV is to be seen and I had decided to see him. What a waste of time!

What a hoot, Koala. I've never seen the movie either, and your "review" doesn't inspire me much.

This movie came on this morning. I decided to record it since I heard that Don sings for one of the bears.

I like the song that he sings with Bonnie Raitt at the bar. I was very surprise to actually see Don in the movie(even though it was very brief). I was like OMG there's Don with Bonnie listening to themselves singing. It was kinda weird. LOL

I also notice something in the credits. I think I have an idea of how Don took part in the movie(well this maybe not why). Glynn Johns. I saw his name as the music producer for the soundtrack. I was shocked to see his name in the credits.

Awful movie. Maybe 10 seconds of Don and Bonnie.
    Bonnie: Wow, they're good.
    Don: Better than the Eagles.
    Really?!
