TLR - Take care!
Yesterday was my mother's birthday, and mine is next week, so this seemed like a great weekend to go to PA to visit the family. A high of 41 and 70% of rain on Saturday, a low of 29 and 30% chance of SNOW Saturday night. Then sunny and a high of 37 on Sunday, and then when I leave on Monday it's to go up to 51. 37 is not a 'high'! I guess I'll be searching for my winter clothes tonight...

Have fun VA!
We are going to our son's house in our small village tonight to see our grandson go trick or treating with his mommy and daddy and watch all the tricksters that come by their house. We live a couple miles out in the country, so no one comes to our house anymore. Family kids have grown up! I love watching all the kids in their costumes!

I love seeing the kids dressed up in their Halloween costumes too. Hope to see a photo of your grandson decked out in his Halloween finery Brooke.
Tonight I am going to miss the kids since it is month end and we will be working late. A co-worker and I may go to the midnight showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show.
I'm going to be that one annoying person who always says it - boy do I hate Halloween
Well, I will TRY to get one, HB! It's so funny, last night I was looking back trying to find a Halloween picture of my kids from the good old days in their costumes and could only come up with one! Surely I took one every year, but where are they?! With the digital age of taking pictures, you can't imagine how many I have already of my grandson! Well, maybe you can!
And how can you not like Halloween? It's so much fun!

It's fun in the US. In the UK & Australia it seems to have been imported wholesale in the last couple of years. There is no tradition of it despite the claims of some that it is based on Celtic rites. We just sit there & hope we don't get too many knocks on the door (we got two) because we don't have any interest in it.
