I tried for tickets at Bournemouth for me and DH via Ticketmaster and See Tickets and neither site would let me have any. On See tickets they are the only venue where tickets aren't available. I'm now wondering if they are sold out. ???? Bournemouth is only 3/4 of an hour drive away. Don't fancy going to London O2 ..... again.

Annabel - if we both manage to get tickets for Bournemouth and you're up for it, we could meet up at the show!

Anyway, to take my mind off the fact that I CAN'T FIND ANY FRIGGIN' TICKETS at the moment... A couple of young JT videos. At his most gorgeous.

I had the above BBC concert recorded, but lost it when we had to replace our Sky box. I don't think I can buy it... anyone know otherwise?

Sorry Troub, can't help you out there.

I just mentioned this song the other day in the Country Covers thread. I didn't know JT did this - and grammy nominated too!

BTW, Carolina In My Mind is one of my all time favorites of his.

Troub I've had no joy and I didn't win when Wave 105 had some to give away on the golden hour on Monday.

I agree Troub and at this time he was plastered all over my bedroom wall!

Pm Wichita Lineman was probably the song in the late 60's that got me to liking Glen Campbell.......I didn't know JT had done it either...Lovely version!

I can remember watching the Glen Campbell show here in the UK as a child. Got me started on COuntry music then. Used to like his banjo player Carl too. Wichita Lineman is one of my absolute fave songs and James Taylor's version is brilliant.

I can't stop playing it now. (I rather like the REM version of that song too)

That is a gorgeous version of a great song. The lines "and I need you more than want you, and I want you for all-time" make me melt. I used to listen to Glen Campbell's version a lot when I was travelling in the car with my grandparents, and I always thought it was so romantic, even as a kid.
