    Thanks for that yadig! That was the first time I think I've ever heard Joe talk about Emma or So What so candidly. Great interview.

    I was telling Ticky...I learn something new every time I listen to one of these interviews. I had heard where and from who Joe "discovered" the talk-box before, but had forgotten that it was Dottie West's husband! Also didn't know Joe spent a winter in Colorado building model airplanes <LOL>. Thought it was way cool the credit he gave Joe Vitalle.

    Thanks from me too, yadig. That is the first time I've heard that. It was a great, insightful interview. Does anyone know when this originally aired?

    not sure of the exact date, but it being the 35 anniversary of The Smoker and that was 1973 so it was this year.
