Now the real fun begins!

I am thinking about voting for TLWE in this round. I not totally up on all my Don Henley songs, so I don't know for sure if he wrote the song or not. One thing I do know is that many of his songs, and for that matter, the Eagles tunes tend to provide a visual story in my minds eye and a lot of these Don Henley videos just don't "go" with how I envision the story he tells in the song. I think that the ability to tell a story through a song is a talent and a gift that he and Glenn Frey have.

Although creative license with a video for a song can really work well- there are many times when they are just totally off base and detract from the song.

In TLWE, I feel the video has some really gratuitous moments but hey it was the late 80's so it may have fit the era but I just don't think it fit the storyline of the song.

ASTWDID is another one I am considering voting for and TYH is in the running to go as well. I will just have to do a little more viewing - what a shame!

I love the ASWTDID video - top 2 for sure for me.

Not Enough Love In The World straight out annoys me & I vote for it. There are only so many obscurely symbolic monochrome videos that I can deal with & the others in this game which fit that category are far superior to this one.

I think the TYH vidoe is very moving & simple, given that I don't like the song very much.

As for ASWTDID I used to like it a lot but now I find it dated.

Yeah - We're at that point in the game where it's getting a lot more difficult to choose. Right now I'm leaning toward NELITW although I agree with Soda that it has some good moments. I love the sentiment of Taking You Home, but like For My Wedding, the video isn't particularly creative. However, I do find it enjoyable to watch, probably because of the footage with Don's family and the fact that I adore the song.

As far as ASWTDID, I think this is a well done video. This is one of those cases where there is some gruesomeness, but it's appropriate and not over-the-top like in Garden of Allah and EIDN. It helps tell the story without totally creeping me out. I actually have this one rated pretty high on my list.

I'm voting for Not Enough Love In The World. It was between that and Taking You Home and I find TYH just too sweet to vote out yet. I don't think it's as well known a song, but I like it.
