Probably not a huge shock that the first song to be eliminated in The Long Run Survivor is The Disco Strangler. “The Disco Strangler’”, the tribe has spoken and you didn’t have to wait very long for your time to come. I know you were lookin’ for the good life, and you may be beautiful and you may be somebody, but you still must leave the island immediately.

I like "Teenage Jail". As least it has a tune and the lyrics are relateable. I also likes the solos at the end.

I could cope with the lyrics for "Disco Strangler" if it had anything to offer musically. It has no hook, no melody and a repetitive backing track and even if that was intentional it doesn't make it any good. The Sex Pistols were "catchy" (don't you ever find yourself singing "we're so pretty oh so pretty vacant"?) but not this.
