Joe will be on Ringo's upcoming 18th studio album, "Postcards From Paradise".
Ringo Starr’s upcoming album, the 11-song “Postcards From Paradise,” is his 18th studio album, but it’s the first time that he’s using his current All-Starr Band. The band is singer-keyboardist Gregg Rolie (Santana, Journey), singer-guitarist Steve Lukather (Toto), singer-guitarist Todd Rundgren, singer-bassist Richard Page (Mr. Mister), sax and flue player Warren Ham (Bread), and drummer Gregg Bissonette (David Lee Roth).
Ringo’s pals that also play on the record include his brother-in-law Joe Walsh (The James Gang and The Eagles), Peter Frampton, Dave Stewart (Eurythmics), keyboardist Benmont Tench (Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers), Richard Marx, bassist Nathan East (Eric Clapton), and multi-instrumentalist Glen Ballard (Alanis Morrisette). The album’s first song is “Rory and The Hurricanes,” about the popular local Liverpool band that Ringo was a member of from 1959 until January 1962, when he quit to accept The Beatles invitation to join them.

The 1993 hit Desperado!?! Ha, ha! Great article tho. I always wondered where Joe had that epiphany. I knew his time down under in the late 80's was a very dark period for him. Thanks for posting this VA!
