In round 1, there were 20 votes and round 2, 21 votes. In this round, 15 votes have already been cast with Greeks having a 6 vote lead. I can't see my vote being needed to rescue KoH or Sad Cafe, so this round, I vote for
    Those Shoes.

I get it that Greeks isn't a deep song, but I find it a bit catchy. Maybe I'm still a college student at heart. Anyway the guys certainly needed the levity while recording the album.

I cast my vote for Those Shoes this round.

"King of Hollywood" is right up there with "Journey of the Sorcerer," "New Kid in Town," and "Please Come Home for Christmas" as one of my favourite Eagles songs, and certainly the best of the deep tracks on the album.

The hits on the 'Long Run' album are incredibly stellar, as opposed to the hit selections on some of their other albums. No strategic voting for me--My least favourite has already been eliminated.
    All carrot, no stick.

"He's just another power junkie, just another silk scarf monkey. You'd know it if you saw his stuff. The man just isn't big enough."--Glenn Frey/Don Henley

"You think you know me, but you haven't got a clue."--John Lennon/Paul McCartney

I'm not voting for it for some time yet, but I don't think that it's the classic that many say. It's a very nice track and a worthy single, but I wouldn't put it among my top 10 Eagles tracks. Not that I'm saying that others are 'wrong' in their opinion - musical preferences are subjective. If it were on Tim's latest album it would not, IMHO, be the best song on it.

I vote for The Long Run.

Even back when it was a radio hit, this song didn't enthrall me. It's not a bad song by any means; I just like it "ok." It has since lost points after I heard "Tryin' to Live My Life Without You" by R&B artist Otis Clay. I can't believe people squawk about HC and Jethro Tull, but not this.

I have no problem with them using the basic groove from that song. I think Glenn even said it was their tribute to Memphis on Eagles Live. I think it's fine.
