Best Ever Eagles Song!!!

It seems he's met people that think HC is the ONLY Eagles song and have no appreciation for their work. He has a not-so-nice name for them(no, I won't mention it here). LOL He thinks if you only became interested in the Eagles because of HC, you aren't true fans. Kind of funny thinking, I know, cause it doesn't matter how someone was introduced to the Eagles. Their music crosses so many lines and generations, I can't imagine anyone not appreciating them........even those who think HC is the only Eagles song!

I can understand the frustration towards people who only know HC. But I have to agree with you that if someone appreciates their music, who the heck cares what song they liked first?

One Of These Nights – love the funky guitars, especially the bass
Ol’ 55 – I’m in love with that song since the Millennium concert, what a treat that was to hear it live
Hotel California – for the guitar solo
Lyin' Eyes – love the way Glenn 'tells' this story
Heartache Tonight – one of my favorite 'drive time' songs
Take It Easy – my 'good mood' song
No More Cloudy Days – this one is just … sweet
Tequila Sunrise – another story in a song that I love, especially along with Glenn’s wonderful voice
Peaceful Easy Feeling – gives me a lighthearted feeling
Take It To The Limit – sung by Glenn, gives me shivers

FP: I love 'Get Over It' too and I wish they still performed it live. It’s rather a draw between 'Hotel California' and 'Get Over It'.

I hear you, Brooke. There are just too many great songs to pick a Top Ten. But I will concede at this point, that my hot favourite right now is "Heartache Tonight" (lead vocal by Glenn - surprise, surprise... )

The End Of The Innocence is certainly one of Don Henley's finest solo songs. However, the Eagles have never performed it.
