Koala, you are a genius! The Southern Courier is the local newspaper for Sydney's southern suburbs not that far from where I used to live (in the Eastern Suburbs, God's own country). It's interesting to see a local rag running a story like this.
Our own local paper The Leader (!!!) would only have run it if the Eagles were playing 'Tradies' (Gymea Trades Union Club).
However there are no ILAA packages for Australia listed yet, not that I want one.

I'm so glad I never knew it wasn't "cool" to like the Eagles. I've actually seen that phrase, "not cool to like the Eagles" a couple of times now. It's funny actually... if it's not cool, then how are they able to have the top selling album of all time and still sell out shows in their 60's?

Seriously. I think it would be more accurate to say that it's "not cool to like the Eagles" if you're a self-important elitist who fancies yourself to be more musically discerning than the ignorant masses who have made the Eagles one of the most successful bands of all time.
P.S. Anyone who considers "The Dude" from The Big Lebowski to be the arbiter of cool has major problems that extend far beyond a lack of appreciation for the Eagles.
