Thanks for that link, UTW. I loved reading all of the comments under the photograph.

One of my personal favorites of their albums. Love the cover image too.

This album has grown on me over the pastfew months. It used to be my least favorite Eagles album, but now, it isn't.

What's not to like, AG? I dug it from the get-go, especially the title track - Nancy's favorite song

Eh, I don't know. I love the rock songs like AG(obviously), James Dean, and the title track, but for a while, I didn't like the slower songs, like My Man, Best of my Love or Ol' 55 much. It took a good dozen listens for them to grow on me. I'm just glad that I have come to like them!

HAPPY 42nd ANNIVERSARY TO ON THE BORDER!!!

I love this album. I love this board style. And I love the album's cover art. I don't think it's ever been posted in this thread before, so here it is ...

As far as my favorites, the album is third behind HC and OOTN, and the title track, along with YNCLAL, are in the top ten. However, of all the albums, I think it has the best cover art and lettering.

I was looking on Wikipedia and it said Gary did the album design for OTB. Plus this would also be the last time Henry would take pictures of the guys for their albums. They got someone else for One Of These Nights and then OOTN would be Gary's last time designing their album cover.

This album has grown on me. I didn't like it for a while. To tell the truth. Their early albums I didn't like. I love OTB and Desperado now.
